Can't wait for Monday!!!

So, this should be fun...watching 2 kids carry 5 boxes of Kleenex, 4 packages of Clorox wipes, 3 boxes of baby wipes, 6 rolls of paper towels, in addition to the book bags with 16 spiral notebooks between them, filler paper, 12 folders, and the 2 plastic "shoebox" type boxes with all the art supplies :)

Somewhere in those book bags and art supply boxes will be 4 bottles of glue, 4 sets of colored pencils, 16 regular pencils, 4 rulers, 3 boxes of crayons, 4 boxes of markers, erasers, calculators, 2 sets of water color paints, a couple of pencil sharpeners, 2 erasable pens, 10 regular pens, 2 pencil cases, 4 glue sticks and....

I think I need to go thru the list again, I'm sure there's "stuff" missing.

The best part of all of this, at least half will need to be replaced after Christmas break. I'm pretty sure that the sock eater that lives in the dryer has a relative that eats crayons and glue sticks when everyone has left school for the day!

Well, 4 blocks to school in brand new shoes should be really interesting!

Almost end of summer

School starts in 2 weeks - Whoo Hoo!!!

Oh, wait, I'm sorry your summer vacation is coming to an end :(

So, the cat is still living in the basement because the GSD thinks he might be either a good playmate or chew toy, crotchety dog still doesn't think GSD should be living here and the 2 birds think that 10-10:30 pm is a good time to start talking to each other!

The fun has already started, cheerleading practice 2x week, soccer sign-ups this Thursday, first football games in a month...maybe I can wait for school :)

And, that rain that was to the south about an hour ago...must have been some thunder. Angie was trying to get under my desk again.

One of these days or storms, I'll have to try the t-shirt.

More Soccer

Thank goodness for thunder storms! 2 minutes or so into 2nd half and the lightening and thunder started. 5-10 minutes later, start it again and more lightening, game's over :)

I don't thing there's a clean uniform for either kid for either sport.

And it's raining, with thunder and wind, so GSD is freaking out and the crotchety one (who has a small bladder after 9pm) is out for the 6th or 7th time and the backyard is mud and...

And I wonder why the house is total chaos! =:0
